McKenna Delp

McKenna Delp is originally from Columbus, Ohio. She began dancing a small studio in her hometown at the age of 4 and never stopped! At age 10, she began training under Yulia Lukynova Moriarty, a Russian ballerina and professional dancer, at The ML Dance Academy. McKenna fell in love with ballet but continued training in all styles, including pointe, jazz, contemporary, tap, hip hop, and lyrical. She began competing at many regional and national competitions winning national titles and countless overall awards for group dances and solos. At age 14 is when she began competing at ballet competitions such as the Youth American Grand Prix and the World Ballet Art Competition. During her time at her home studio, she started assisting classes at age 12 and began teaching her own classes at 16.

After graduating high school, McKenna continued her dance career at Wright State University, furthering her education in ballet, modern, jazz, contemporary, tap, and pointe. She also took classes in dance pedagogy, kinesiology, acting, voice, and dance history. McKenna had two of of her own works presented in two dance concerts. She was chosen to dance in two guest pieces for Kiki Lucas, Alison Reny, as well as Spring Dance Concert performances for Gina Walther, Erin Robbins, and Ashley Pabst. During the summer of 2021, she was a dancer at Kings Island in the Grand Carnivale. She graduated from WSU with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance in April of 2023.

McKenna is a signed model with Helen Wells agency. Most recently, she has been teaching ballet, jazz, hip hop, and competition dance at Tops Dance Center. McKenna hopes to do anything involving dance whether that be dancing on Broadway in a musical, a cruise ship, a contemporary company, or even TV and movies. She has a big passion for dance and an even bigger passion for teaching. She hopes to share that same passion with her students anywhere she goes!
