Anna-Kate kuszynski

Anna-Kate, originally from Ann Arbor, MI, is a graduate of Wright State University, completing her BFA in musical theatre. She began her teaching journey at American Dance Academy in Michigan, and decided to also offer private lessons of her own until January of 2020. In 2021, she transferred from the University of Memphis in Memphis, TN to Wright State to finish pursuing her degree with an end goal of performing.
However, she is also very passionate about sharing her knowledge with the community. Since 2017, she’s been teaching a variety of age groups, skill levels, and styles of voice, in both private and group lessons. She has also worked at SICSA Pet Adoption Center as an associate camp counselor, teaching young students about taking care of pets. She takes great joy in being a devoted teacher.

In 2017, Anna-Kate was recognized as the second runner-up in Michigan’s National High School Musical Theatre Awards. She was awarded with the Fred Waring Director’s Award for Chorus the same year. She spent her high school years conducting choirs, performing in choirs, performing as Ariel in Disney’s The Little Mermaid, and music directing a middle school production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. In her 6 years of college, she was student teaching at a local private elementary school, studying voice privately, taking numerous acting classes, studying many styles of dance, continuing piano lessons, and performing in choirs and musicals. Anna-Kate is excited to continue her teaching journey at Pure Studios and work with her new talented and eager students.
